Techniques and Services at Living Well Chiropractic
Based on our clinical judgment and years of experience, we may use several adjusting approaches.
Our goal is to help improve your spinal biomechanics and reduce nervous system interference.
Our family-oriented practice focuses on natural chiropractic care. Chiropractic takes care of the integrity of the spine and the nervous system and allows your body to function at its best. It has helped patients with acute conditions such as low back pain, headaches, vertigo and colic in children.
The primary chiropractic techniques we use include
Diversified – This is the most commonly used manual manipulation technique. Your doctor will identify which vertebrae have been affected by conducting a thorough examination of your spine. A specific manual thrust is then applied to free up the “stuck” spinal joints.
Activator Methods® – This system of spinal evaluation combines with a handheld adjusting instrument to deliver a consistent, low-force thrust. This is a time-tested protocol that discovers any subluxations and their location. It’s also helpful in determining whether an adjustment is indicated or not.
Torque Release – This method uses a gentle touch and a light thrusting by hand or instrument to enhance the brain/body connection.
We also utilize MyoVision scans, computerized, non-invasive, painless tests using thermal imaging and Surface Electromyology(SEMG). These scans can pinpoint abnormal function before symptoms appear.
When the structures of the foot don’t work together as they should, deformities and pathologies occur that can affect the function of the spine. Proper biomechanics allow human beings to walk, run, jump and move freely without pain or dysfunction.
FootMaxx Orthotics uses a computerized analysis system to assess the biomechanics of your foot and your gait. Based on the results, we’ll order comfortable, custom orthotics to improve your biomechanics.
If you’ve been to a chiropractor before and prefer to be adjusted in a particular way, let us know. We want you to relax, enjoy and fully benefit from your chiropractic care.
